Family and Friends

On today's rest day, there was one thing above all that I did: I rested!

In the afternoon, however, I also had the chance to enjoy the company of people outside the immediate family. First, Jiabin's cousin Jiaqing came to visit with her boyfriend. After chatting for a while, we played cards together—once again the popular game Dou Dizhu.

Afterwards, I visited Jiabin's childhood friend Danyang, who lives only about two kilometers away. We had a wonderful conversation, which made me very happy. I'm really glad that I get along so well with Jiabin's closest friends, such as Laojun and Danyang. Opportunities to talk with them on my own—without Jiabin being there—will probably be quite rare, which makes moments like these all the more special.
